I'm a software engineer at Tyba, open-source maintainer, amateur musician, recovering entrepreneur, and father of two. In my copious free time I work on Biff (Clojure web framework) and various apps like Yakread and BudgetSWU.

I've written 20+ posts that made it to the front page of Hacker News, so you might find those most interesting, statistically speaking. Here are my favorite posts that haven't made it into the hall of fame:

• Why to not be a startup founder
• You can help unbundle social media
• Leaving Mormonism
• Impressions on Sudbury Schooling

I've also done a few podcast interviews/presentations:

• Imperfect Creatives podcast: invention as a career path
• London Clojurians: the design of Biff
• The REPL: Biff
• Defn Podcast: Biff

Got something to chat about? Send me an email. Now, dammit.
